Hello Pirate Families,

I would like to thank everyone for a great 2nd week of school.  At this time, we have completed all schedule changes. If you have not received any feedback on your request, please check-in with your counselor.

If you would like to schedule a parent/teacher conference, please contact Mrs. Benke, our guidance secretary at 352-524-5539.

Parents and Students:  PLEASE make sure that you are arriving to school on time.  The tardy bell rings at 7:25am.  Make sure you are here and headed to class by 7:20am.

Parents, please make sure you are using the front car loop ONLY to drop off your student.

Every student is eligible for free breakfast.  Make sure to stop by the cafeteria each day and pick up your free breakfast.

Mark your calendars for September 11th.  The annual College Fair will be at PHSC from 6-7:30pm.  Go and meet college admission reps from all over the southeast.

The yearbook summer sale ends on August 31st.  Please take advantage of this summer sale and purchase your yearbook for $55 dollars.  You can pay Cash or check made out to PHS or buy it online at yearbookforever.com.

Parents, please mark your calendars for September 18, 2018.  We will be having our 1st Parent University Meeting.

Want to spend Spring Break 2019 touring with the Pirate Expeditions Club?  This year we will be going to England, Ireland, and Wales with a quick stop in Paris.  Please see Ms. Reed in room 4-202 for more information.

Anyone interested in playing girls basketball this year, there will be an interest meeting with the new coach, Coach Justin on Tuesday, August 28th at 2:15pm in the IRC.

Attention any student in need of community service opportunities: please stop by the CRC to sign-up.

Attention all Junior’s and Senior’s: if you are interested in taking the ASVAB, please sign-up in the CRC.  The test will be given on September 12, 2018 at 7:30am.

Attention Senior’s: Herff Jones will be on campus on September 6, 2018 to discuss cap/gown orders.  Also, we have 2 scholarship opportunities already for those interested in applying.  The Wendy’s Heisman, and Elk’s Foundation. Please stop by the CRC for additional information.

Attention all students parking in the student lots:  Make sure you are parked in your assigned park spot only.

Attention all students: Please make sure you have reviewed the school dress code and make sure your outfits are appropriate.  Remember that crop tops are NOT allowed and all shorts, dresses, and skirts must be at 6 inches above the knee or lower.
