Aaron Melvin is entering his 20th year as an educator. He taught Social Studies in Detroit, MI, Naples FL, and at Land O’ Lakes High School for a total of 11 years. He is now entering his 9th school year as a proud Assistant Principal at PHS. He received a B.A. From Eastern Michigan University in Secondary Education Social Studies, a M. Ed. from FGCU in Special Education, and a M.Ed. from USF in Educational Leadership. In his free time Mr. Melvin enjoys spending time with his three children, golfing, boating, dominating at trivia, watching 80’s wrestling reruns, singing Motown songs in the office, and dreaming of the Detroit Lions in the Super Bowl.
Dr. Eshonda Swackard
Assistant Principal
Class of 2028
Dr. Eshonda Swackard is a native of Brooksville, Fl. She is a mother of 3 wonderful children and 1 beautiful granddaughter. She possesses a Bachelors in Social Work, a Master’s in Education, an Ed. Specialist in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorate in Leadership and Management. Dr. Swackard is a multi-talented individual who strives for the advancement of underprivileged youth. She says…on a daily basis, she is tasked to be an instructional leader while walking through the halls of Pasco High School. As she acts in her role as one of the Assistant Principals, she considers herself to be truly one of a kind.
Dr. Swackard realizes that teaching and leading is a lifelong learning process. One must learn about new philosophies and new strategies, learn from the parents and community, learn from colleagues, and especially learn from the children. Dr. Swackard’s instructional leadership has taught her to open her mind and her heart to the joys, innocence, and diversity of ideas in the world. Because of this, she will never forget how to smile with the new, cherish the old, and laugh with the children all while making a difference.
Kristin Roberts
Assistant Principal

I am a true Floridian, born and raised in the South Florida area of Jupiter, FL. I moved to Tampa to attend the University of South Florida where I earned my Batchelor’s degree in Psychology and my Master’s degree in School Counseling. I most recently attended the University of Tampa to earn my certification in Educational Leadership. I have spent the past 13 years working in Pasco County as a school counselor at both the middle school and high school levels. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, gardening, kayaking, and taking my dog on adventures. I am excited and looking forward to stepping into this new role as an administrator at Pasco High School and I look forward to getting to know all of our staff, students, and families.
Estephany Cafferata
Assistant Principal
Class of 2027
Estephany Cafferata is a two-time graduate from the University of South Florida. She received her bachelors in mathematics education and went on to teach math at Armwood High School in Hillsborough county. After a few years, she taught math at Wesley Chapel High School and pursued her masters in educational leadership. She completed an assistant principal internship at Pasco High School and returned to the following year as an official assistant principal.
Phil Ellis

Phil Ellis is a Florida resident by way of Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Ellis graduated from Florida State University in 2015 with a Bachelors in Chemistry with minors in Mathematics and Physics. He then went on to earn a Masters in Educational Leadership from Saint Leo University in 2021. Prior to being an administrator at PHS he taught chemistry, physics, and AVID for 6 years. He is excited to have the opportunity to lead the Cambridge program and all it can provide for the students at PHS.
When not working Mr. Ellis enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, watching the Tampa Bay Rays, and loudly rooting for all sports Florida State Seminoles related. He also enjoys reading a good science fiction or fantasy novel, watching a great movie, or listening to music.
