Registration Information for 2017/2018

It is that time to begin thinking of what classes you will be taking for the 2017/2018 school year. You will be given your registration course card the week of February 20th to complete. On this card you will be selecting your classes for 2017/2018 school year. I am listing below some links that will help you choose your classes. I encourage you to attend Curriculum Night on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. starting in the Dr. McBath Activity Center (Gym). There will be a “Break Out” session on registration and the guidance counselors will be available to answer any questions you may have.

If you plan on playing a SPORT in college.  Please look at the NCAA requirements on this link.  Make sure you are choosing classes that will qualify you to play a sport in college.  NCAA

For the Cambridge Program.  I am attaching a few links to help you plan out your classes.  Please check the Cambridge web page for any additional information. Ms. Sarah Johansen will be available on Curriculum Night to answer any questions.

If you are interested in taking Dual Enrollment Courses read the following:

  • You must take and pass the PERT Test.  The PERT Test consist of 3 parts (Reading, Writing and Math)
  • The PERT Test is given once a month at PHS.  The next available test times will be in April and May.
  • See Ms. Edwards in the CRC to sign up to take the PERT Test.
  • See your guidance counselor to get more information on Dual Enrollment Courses available through PHSC.
  • You can start taking Dual Enrollment Courses as a 10th grader
  • Dual Enrollment Courses are no longer offered over the Summer.
  • The dual enrollment courses will count towards meeting your high school diploma requirements.
