CLASS OF 2025
IMPORTANT SENIOR INFORMATION
Dear Parents and Guardians of the Class of 2025:
As we look ahead to graduation, it is our sincere hope that when you look back at your son’s/daughter’s
high school career, you view it as a positive experience full of opportunities and one that helped prepare
him/her for the future.
With the end of the year fast approaching, we thought this would be a good time to share some important
events, dates, and end-of-the-year information:
Very, very important: If your student has one or more Florida Virtual School (FLVS)/ Pasco eSchool
courses that are needed to meet graduation requirements, he/she must complete all coursework and
DBAs (Discussion Based Assessments) by April 25th, and exams by May 2nd. This will allow the FLVS
teacher time to grade all assignments and submit your student’s final grade. This will ensure the grade is
entered into our school district’s electronic student records system no later than Monday, May 19, 2025.
Seniors whose final grade(s) for their FLVS/Pasco eSchool courses that are not entered into our school
district’s electronic student records system by May 19th will not be able to participate in graduation
ceremonies, as we cannot verify the student’s completion of all the graduation requirements.

The graduates’ dress code for Baccalaureate and Graduation is as follows:
1. An appropriate Cap & Gown must be worn to participate. The deadline to order is March 1st.
2. Dress pants and dress shirt, a dress or skirt and blouse, or pantsuit are recommended outfits.
3. If wearing pants, wear matching dark socks with dress shoes. We recommend that students do
not wear high heels, as there will be a lot of walking and stair climbing.
Note: Anyone who does not meet the dress code requirements must return home to change their
attire and return in proper dress and on time to participate in the event.
If meeting these dress code requirements presents a problem for a student, please have them
contact Ms. Edwards, or Mrs. Kadlub at 352-524-5500.
Graduates will have their picture taken professionally as they receive their diploma on stage. Picture
package options for this special moment will be made available to you through Gigante (813-907-1078).
Please make sure your address is correct with PHS, as that is the address that we will provide to Gigante.
Upon completion of Graduation, graduates can pick up their diplomas in the same area they reported to
upon arrival, The Corral. Only students who have officially completed their check out will be able to
receive their diploma. Once picking up your diploma, you will need to exit the Yuengling Center. We
recommend setting up a pre-arranged meeting place outside of the Yuengling Center with your
family/guests.
Important Notice:
As a result of incidents occurring after hours on school campuses throughout Pasco County in past years,
principals have been directed to inform their students that they will be arrested for trespassing if they
are on school property without being part of an official/approved school event. In addition to trespassing
charges, if the activity the students are engaged in while trespassing results in vandalism, additional
charges will be pressed. Further, for seniors, vandalism will result in out-of-school suspension for the
remainder of the year and loss of the privilege to participate in all remaining senior activities, including
the graduation ceremony. As we enter the time of the year when senior class pranks are typically being
planned, please help your student understand the consequences for being on school property without
being part of an official/approved school event, as well as the consequences for activities that result in
vandalism.
We hope you have found this information informative and helpful in preparing for your son’s/daughter’s end of the year senior events. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Kari A. Kadlub
Principal
