Our 9th grade Cambridge Celebration is scheduled for Tuesday February 23rd at 6:00pm. Please make sure parents and students attend. Students course cards for course selection will be distributed as follows:

Pasco Middle School: Distributed to students at PMS 2/18/16

Centennial Middle School: Distributed to students at CMS 2/16/16

Academy at the Farm: Distributed to students at AATF 2/16/16

Weightman Middle School: Course cards will be emailed directly to students

John Long Middle School: Course cards will be emailed directly to students

Saint Anthony’s Catholic School: Course cards will be emailed directly to students

Registration for incoming 10th-12th grade Cambridge students for the 2016-2017 school year:

Our Cambridge 10th-12th grade academic night is January 28th at 6pm. Please make sure parents and students attend this meeting for vital information regarding registration for next year. We will also be discussing the AICE Diploma, University Admissions, College Scholarships, Community service and SAT/ACT Prep.

Your teachers are currently making recommendations for your core academic classes.

On Monday February 1st at 6:00pm, PHS will be hosting a Pirate Parent Curriculum Night. Please click HERE for more information.

Elective and academy teachers will have tables open during student’s lunches February 1st – 4th for students to ask questions and find out more information.

On Friday February 5th at the beginning of 1st period, students will be given their course cards and will make their final elective selections. We will show a video with directions for completing the course card, but it is expected that students should already have decided which electives they would like to request.

Course cards will be turned back in to their teachers before class is dismissed. Therefore, it is imperative that parents attend the curriculum night and review all resources before selections are made so that you can assist your child in making sure they are selecting the right courses.

A few reminders for Cambridge students to keep in mind when requesting courses:

  • 2 years of a foreign language are required for Cambridge graduation and State University admission
  • ALL juniors need to be registered for AICE Global Perspectives
  • Please make sure you and your student understand the requirements for completing the AICE Curriculum as well the requirements for FLDOE Cambridge diploma. Click HERE for more information.

Students will be given a copy of their final course requests at the beginning of 4th quarter, at which time, they will have the opportunity to submit a change if necessary.
